The Zanzibar beaches are considered some of the best in the world. There are 25 beaches, nestled between fishing villages, surrounding the island. Kilometres of white sandy beaches, bathed by turquoise waters and dressed with slender and majestic palm trees that make a paradisiacal landscape. Some of these beaches are tricky to access, but the only sound you will hear are the ocean waves.
At our resort's private beach you will see spectacular sunrises, swaying to the rhythm of the waves while you enjoy your favourite drink while you watch the fishing boats cross the horizon.
Close to Paradise Beach Resort you will find seafood collectors, fish markets, souvenir shops and restaurants where you can slip into the local atmosphere.
Nearby, still on the east coast you can visit Matemwe, Pwani Mchangani, Kiwengwa, Uroa, Bwejuu and Jambian. Southwards you can visit Kizimkazi where you can swim with dolphins. On the west coast you will find Mangapwani beach.
And don't forget to see the spectacular sea turtles at the nature reserve on Prison Island. The best diving waters are found at the island of Mbemba.
